Practical guide
Each selected PDF page is rasterized as an independent WEBP image with adjustable resolution and quality. This is a web-publishing flow, not a way to retain document text, links or structure.
Select individual pages or ranges before conversion. Each produces its own WEBP in PDF order; multiple pages are not joined into a strip, and embedded photographs are not extracted separately.
The 96, 144 and 200 DPI levels control generated pixels, while quality controls WEBP encoding. More resolution and quality may help small text or images, but also increase processing and size without creating missing detail.
Inspect headings, tables and fine lines at their real web size. For pages dominated by text or diagrams, compare PDF to PNG; for a photographic output with broader compatibility, PDF to JPG serves a different priority.
WEBP contains visible pixels only: selectable text, links, forms and layers disappear, and OCR is not performed. Keep the PDF as the source instead of using a round trip to try to rebuild it.
Yes. Every selected page produces an independent WEBP image and the results follow the document order.
You can choose 96, 144 or 200 DPI and combine that resolution with the WEBP quality setting before starting.
No. The complete page becomes pixels; links, forms and selectable text are not retained, and OCR is not performed.
