Practical guide
Each selected page is rendered as a separate image. Page selection, resolution, and legibility determine whether the result is suitable for presentations, diagrams, or screenshots.
The output contains the visible composition of the page: text, graphics, and images appear together in the PNG. It does not extract an embedded photograph or deliver page objects separately.
This can be useful for inserting a page into a presentation or sharing a diagram without sending the entire PDF. If you need only one area, you will have to crop it afterwards.
You can specify pages or ranges within the supported limits and choose 96, 144, or 200 DPI. Resolution determines how many pixels are generated to represent each page.
A higher resolution can represent existing PDF detail more clearly, but it cannot reconstruct missing information in a blurred scan. Inspect the result at the size at which it will be used.
A PNG contains pixels. The text you see is part of the image: this conversion does not perform OCR or preserve selectable text or editable elements.
Keep the original PDF if you need to copy text or continue editing it. Encrypted PDFs and documents that fail validation are rejected.
Open the images and confirm that they match the selected pages, that the complete page is in frame, and that important labels or text remain legible.
If the task is to assemble images in a document, use PNG to PDF. There is no need to perform a round-trip conversion.
PDF pages are rasterized as complete images. Embedded objects are not extracted individually, and no OCR, editable document or selectable text is produced. Encrypted PDFs are rejected.
Select individual pages or ranges, up to 50 pages, at 96, 144 or 200 DPI. One image is produced per selected page; increasing DPI does not recover detail missing from the PDF.
Input and output expire automatically after the period shown in the converter. Download your result before then.
