What will I receive?
RAW to WEBP
The WebP result is static and re-encoded at the selected quality, with compatible transparency preserved. A smaller file is not guaranteed; compare the downloaded result with the source.
Develop a supported camera RAW photo into an 8-bit sRGB WEBP copy for sharing or publishing.

Practical guide
RAW to WEBP creates an adjustable 8-bit sRGB web derivative. The negative retains far more information than this copy, so keep it together with any required development settings.
Compatible DNG, CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, RAF, ORF and RW2 inputs are accepted. Camera white balance is applied when available, and only the primary image is processed.
Output is 8-bit sRGB without EXIF, XMP, IPTC or GPS. It does not retain sensor data, original depth or the same latitude for highlights, shadows and colour.
Compare texture, noise and gradients at the final size. WEBP may be practical but promises neither lower weight nor better detail than every alternative.
Do not use WEBP as a master or chain conversions to continue developing. Store RAW and editing decisions outside the temporary job.
For a widely compatible photographic copy see RAW to JPG; for an editing copy without another adjustable lossy pass use RAW to PNG.

No. It is an 8-bit sRGB development without sensor data or the depth of the negative.
No. EXIF, XMP, IPTC and GPS are removed; keep RAW whenever that information matters.
