What will I receive?
AVIF to PDF
Each input image becomes one PDF page in the selected order. Transparency is flattened onto white. This creates a document from images, not selectable text or an OCR result.
Make a static AVIF image available as PDF for an application that requires that format.

Practical guide
PDF lets you deliver AVIF photographs to people or systems that do not work with that format. Up to five images can be ordered, one per page, but the document does not retain AVIF containers as editable originals.
The input list determines page order. Every validated AVIF creates one page and all inputs are collected into one PDF, so inspect thumbnails and names before starting.
Every AVIF is decoded as an 8-bit static image. Sequences and multi-frame files are rejected, metadata is not retained, and compatible transparency is composed over white for the PDF page.
PDF displays the pixels but does not attach the original AVIF files. When you need an editing copy with alpha, convert directly through AVIF to PNG from the source.
Open every page and inspect orientation, framing and background. PDF to AVIF rasterizes complete pages and cannot reconstruct the source images, so a round trip is not equivalent.
You may select up to five compatible images, and Formotra places them into one PDF in the order shown in the list.
